Enjoy FREE shipping on all orders over $199. This discount is automatically applied at checkout. For orders under $199, a flat rate of $24.95 applies.
Exclusion Areas
Certain areas are excluded from standard shipping rates and will incur a minimum delivery fee of $49.95. Refer to our exclusion areas list for detailed information.
Delivery Process
Call Prior to Delivery
While our courier company does not guarantee a call before delivery, tracking emails will be provided. If no one is available during delivery, a calling card, text, or email will be sent for one free re-delivery.
Shipping Time Frames
Upon order placement, we aim to dispatch within 48 hours, with tracking details provided shortly after. Estimated shipping time frames are as follows:
- SYD, MLB, BNE, ADL metropolitan areas: 1-7 business days.
- QLD, NSW, VIC, SA & TAS regional areas + WA & NT: 7 - 14 business days.
*Transit times are a general guide, excluding the day of pick-up. Responsibility for the consignment transfers to the recipient upon delivery.
Delivery Date & Time
If the first delivery attempt is unsuccessful, one free re-delivery is available to the original shipping address. Business days for re-delivery can be requested.
Consignment in Transit
Cancellation and Return to Sender
If a consignment needs to be cancelled after dispatch, a return to sender fee and a 20% restocking fee apply. An investigation outcome is required before further action.
Address and Authority
Business Address and Authority to Leave
Consider providing a business address for delivery. You can authorise goods to be left without a signature (Authority to Leave) by specifying this in the order notes during checkout.
*Once delivered, the customer assumes responsibility for the item, especially if an authority to leave is given.
Change of Address
Requests for address changes are considered if the order hasn't been processed. A re-direction quote, if possible, will be at the customer's cost.
Incorrect Address
If an incorrect address is supplied, and delivery fails, any excess fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Cancelling Orders
Cancellation Prior to Dispatch
If you wish to cancel your order before dispatch, a 3% transaction cancellation fee applies. Additional merchant fees may apply for Afterpay or Zip pay transactions.
Delivery Failure
Failed Delivery Attempts
In the case of a failed delivery attempt, the courier may leave a card or send a text/email for re-delivery. After two unsuccessful attempts, Gamila Rugs reserves the right to cancel the order, deducting relevant fees from the refund.
Issues with Delivery
Customer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for freight costs related to pickup and replacement under specific circumstances, including insufficient contact information, customer error, authority to leave, or incorrect item orders.
Lost Design Society reserves the right to refuse service at our discretion.
If a delivery has an exemption, the courier may leave a card at the address or send a text/email requesting contact is made to the courier company to arrange a redelivery. If 2 attempts have been made and a consignment could not be delivered, Lost Design Society reserves the right to cancel an order. Any fees related to the attempted delivery and return and handling fees will be deducted from the refund. The same fees apply to any consignment that is held at a depot for an extended period of time and the consignee has not contacted the courier.
